Get Pre-Approved

Before you start house hunting, we recommend you begin the loan pre-approval process. Being pre-approved requires a lender verify your financial information. It also serves as their commitment to lend a specified amount based on that information.

A pre-approval will give you a number of advantages:

  1. When you do find a property, sellers will take your offer more seriously given you have a lender committed to backing your offer.
  2. You get "peace of mind", knowing you're looking at homes you can confidently afford to finance. Your efforts will be focused on properties which match your financing abilities.
  3. You'll have an edge over buyers who aren't pre-approved. In situations where there are multiple offers on a property, this can be the difference between having your offer accepted or losing the property to another buyer.
  4. We're eager to help you get pre-approved either through FM Lending or any other lending.
